Privacy
The short version
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts.
- Your email, age, birthday, body stats and workout notes are never shown to other athletes.
- Your profile is private until you turn it on. You choose what it shows.
- You can download everything about you, or delete your account, at any time.
- Accounts are for ages 13 and up. Under 18, extra protections are always on.
What we keep
- Your account: username, display name, email, password (stored only as a salted hash, never readable), age or birthday, gender, avatar, goals, Rx/Scaled default, home equipment, and any nutrition settings you enter.
- Your training: the workouts you log (score, Rx or Scaled, how you scaled, date, tiebreak, and any notes, bodyweight or heart rate you add), movement records, and custom workouts you create.
- Groups: the groups you're in, posts, replies, comments, fist bumps, invites, challenges and coach workouts.
- Social and settings: who you follow, your profile and leaderboard choices, and your alert settings.
- Alerts: your newest 100 alerts.
- Messages you send to the site admins, and reports you file.
- Sign-ins: for each signed-in device, a scrambled copy of its sign-in token and a short label such as "Chrome on Windows". No IP address is stored.
With a Local Device Only account, your workout logs stay in your browser and never reach the server.
What we don't collect
- No IP addresses are stored. The daily visit counter scrambles the address with a key that changes every day and is never saved, so visits can be counted without recognizing anyone.
- No advertising or analytics services. Movement videos are plain links to YouTube; nothing from YouTube loads until you click one.
- Sign-in uses your browser's own storage on this site, not tracking cookies.
Who can see what
- The public leaderboard ("Everyone") shows your @username, avatar, score, Rx/Scaled and date. Your age group appears only if you share it on your public profile. You can turn the public leaderboard off in your profile settings; you'll still see your own scores and still rank on your groups' boards. Your scores always count, without your name, in the anonymous "how you compare" statistics.
- Your profile is private until you make it public. Private, people see only your @username and avatar. Public, it can show your name, town, bio, workouts logged, best scores, badges, streaks and public groups, each your choice.
- Groups:
- Members of a group see its feed (members' scores and PRs), comments, board, challenges and member list. Real names appear only for athletes with a public profile.
- Private groups are invisible to everyone else.
- Public groups have a page anyone (and Google) can see: name, town, description, member and activity counts, current challenges, and coaches who have public profiles.
- How you scaled a workout shows only inside private groups.
- Who you follow is visible only to you; others see only a follower count.
- Site admins can see account usernames, every group's name and members (not its feed or board), reported posts, and messages sent to them. Admins don't see your email in the app.
Under 18
You need to be 13 or older to make an account. For athletes under 18, these are always on:
- The profile stays private.
- Scores stay off the public leaderboard and are shown only in their own groups.
- They can't be followed or suggested to strangers.
- They join groups only with an invite or a code from a coach, and can start private groups only.
- Only a group's coaches can invite them.
Your email is used for password resets and for the alerts you chose (change them any time from the bell, or open Alert settings). Emails are sent through Resend. We never sell or share your email.
Where it lives
The server runs on Google Cloud. Traffic reaches it through a Cloudflare Tunnel, so the server has no open ports; Cloudflare handles the secure connection and protects the site. A backup of the server's data is made each day and kept for 14 days.
Your controls
- Download all my data (in your profile) gives you everything above in one file.
- Edit or delete any workout log from History.
- Delete account (in your profile) permanently removes your account, logs, records, messages, custom workouts, alerts, follows, and your posts and comments in groups. Groups you own are deleted. Copies can remain in the daily backups for up to 14 days, then they're gone.
- Questions or requests: [email protected], or "Contact the admins" in the app.
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
